Excerpt: TECHNOLOGIES AND LEARNING. The goal of technology, and especially information technology, must be to create an environment where every learner will have a series of resources and teachers in different discipline expertise and in different locations, with a teacher/mentor to help organize the information, and help the student pursue some areas in depth. This is currently too expensive, but there is hope that several upcoming technologies listed below can be deployed in the future.
