Excerpt: PLAINTIFF?S MOTION FOR DECLARATORY RELIEF OR, ALTERNATIVELY, TO CONDUCT LIMITED DISCOVERY. Plaintiff Sibel Edmonds, by and through her undersigned counsel, respectfully requests that this Court declare that any information provided by the defendant Federal Bureau of Investigation to Congress concerning the plaintiff and her allegations is unclassified and is not subject to the State Secrets privilege. Alternatively, the plaintiff seeks permission to conduct limited discovery regarding the extent to which the information provided to Congress is, in fact, classified, and if classified whether it has been properly classified, and/or the manner by which it has been reclassified.
