Excerpt: The Pure Love Alliance was recently awarded $36,000 by the State of Missouri to conduct abstinence education in St. Louis. Although this is a small sum, it is significant because it is the first Title V Abstinence-only Education Program money the PLA has received so far. It gives hope to the many other chapters waiting for a favorable decision on funding.
