1.1 Sknce d'ouverture Le Bureau regional de I'OMS pour 1'Europe a reuni a Faro (Portugal), du 15 au 18 mai 1979, un groupe de travail sur la detection precoce des handicaps chez les enfants. auquel ont participe dix conseillers temporaires Venus du Danemark, de Grkce. des Pays-Bas, de Pologne, du Portugal, du Roy aume- Uni, de Su6de et de Tchecoslovaquie, ainsi qu'un fonctionnaire du Bureau regional. Le groupe de travail a elu 3 sa presidence le Dr Laura Ayres; le Dr C. Sundelin a Cte choisi comme vice-president et le Dr J.D. Williamson a bien voulu s'acquitter des fonctions de rapporteur.
