Excerpt: This section discusses the statistical models that were fitted to the lead loading, lead concentration, and dust loading data. Also discussed are centering and scaling of design variables to produce easily interpretable model parameters. The stepwise regression and mixed model procedures used to arrive at final models are defined and model parameters are related to specific hypotheses of interest.
