Science ; A triple-decker novel for childrens. Home from school, Tom and his sisters are treated to an exposition of the physical operations at play in different toys, sports and pastimes. The sprightly text is enlivened by many comic disputes between the childrens enlightened father and the vicar, Mr. Twaddleton. The second part of vol.II abandons science for the novel of property, a swindler is exposed, lovers united, etc.
